July 24th is a Utah State Holiday known as
Pioneer Day in observance of the arrival of members of the
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints (Mormons), led by
Brigham Young, at the site of Salt Lake City, Utah on July 24, 1847.
This holiday is celebrated in a manner equivalent to Independence
Day with fireworks, parades, and other festivities.

Moody, a great-great granddaughter of Heber C. Kimball.
Brigham Heber weighed in at 9 pounds 5
ounces. Welcoming him home were brothers, Mark, 6, and Bart, 4.
Immediate grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
J. Vernon Cook, Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Moody, Delta.
